FEE ALERT: PPS Increases on Monday, October 19th – (10/16/20)
Effective this coming Monday, October 19th, the fee to request Premium Processing Service via Form I-907 will increase from $1,440 to $2,500. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) just today announced the effective date for the fee hike, following the authority granted to raise this fee in the Continuing Appropriations Act signed into law on October 1. Any Form I-907 postmarked on or after Oct. 19 must include the new fee amount or the petition will be rejected.
Note also that there is a new edition of the Form I-907. Starting December 16, 2020 only the new edition (09/30/20) will be accepted but until then, the 12/02/19 edition can be used, but the new filing fee of $2,500 is required when requesting to expedite an O or P petition.
The forms and fee to file form I-129, requesting O or P approval to engage a guest artist, currently remains $460 for the edition most recently dated 1/27/20, pending a preliminary injunction.
