International Travelers to U.S. to Prove COVID-19 Status – (01/13/21)
Anyone traveling by air internationally into the U.S. will need to get a COVID-19 test no more than 3 days before flight departure and provide proof of a negative result, or may provide documentation of recovery. This Order was issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is set to go into effect January 26, 2021.
The CDC has posted a list of FAQs, which includes guidance about passengers who have had a COVID-19 vaccine, details about documentation, whether this applies to connecting flights, advises on self-quarantining after arrival, and more.
